Song Jieun apparently brings home the money more than anyone else in her group.
In the January 29 episode of SBS’ Strong Heart Song Jieun took the time to clarify the ranking of who earns the most in Secret saying, “Officially, it was reported that Han Sunhwa earns the most in Secret but unofficially speaking, I make the most in Secret.”
She explained, “I earn money on the side. In addition to the payment we receive from our agency, there’s an additional payment we receive a separate payment for copyright. From early in our debut, our CEO said, ‘Song Jieun will be Secret’s chorus’ and I’ve been [singing] all of the choruses for Secret′s tracks since then."
Since almost all of Secret′s songs have been popular, Song Jieun has received quite a large amount in royalties, making her the breadwinner of the group.
